Charlotte Fry
In the world of Dressage, where elegance meets power, few names shine as brightly as Charlotte Fry.
She has quickly risen to the top, becoming one of the most influential athletes in the sport. Her most recent major milestone came last August when Charlotte won a bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics in the individual Grand Prix, adding to the team bronze won by Great Britain the day before.
Her story is one of dedication, passion, and a deep, natural bond with her horses. In the first episode of She Rides equestrian version, Lottie shares the emotional depths of her journey, expressing profound gratitude for her equine partners.
Through her words, viewers glimpse the heart and soul of a rider whose connection with her horses is as extraordinary as her talent.

“Dressage is all about the connection between horse and rider. We’re riding very powerful horses and we have to make it look as elegant as we possibly can. The main thing about Dressage is just creating this amazing partnership with your horse and being able to show that off in the arena; he wants to do his best for you. It’s a really emotional feeling to be doing this test together".

"I’ve been riding my entire life, I was born into Dressage. My mother was in the Olympics in 1992 and when I was 18 years old, I moved to the Netherlands to join Van Olst Horses, where I began training and really making it into a career and achieving my dreams.

"I think in our sport, it really gives women to have the same chances as men. It’s probably one of the only sports in the world where man and women compete equally against each other.
Just before competing, I definitely like to listen to music, get in the zone and really be focused and concentrated and spend some time with my horse just in the stables".
