JEREMY POWERS RIDES KASK, WEARING KASK HELMETS AND SUNGLASSES

To many cycling fans Jeremy Powers needs little introduction but those not fully familiar with cyclocross can glean from the fact that, as the current and four-time US National Cyclocross Champion, Jeremy is an exceptional athlete. And he’s now wearing KASK helmets.
Jeremy said: “I am absolutely ecstatic to be working with KASK. From the beginning of our conversations regarding a partnership it was clear that KASK wanted to support our growth and vision to create a world class cross program. Having trained in both the helmets and glasses for the past month, the products are exceptional and I'm looking forward to representing them in the coming seasons”.
Jeremy combined a career as a professional road cyclist with top-level cyclocross racing for a decade, the fitness and race-craft from the pro road team applying well to CX wins. For the last two seasons he has concentrated solely on CX – which is his focus now with his own team, Aspire Racing.
Last season, Jeremy continued to make cyclocross history with highlights including a record fourth National Championship title, the inaugural Pan American championship, and the best finish ever by a non-European male rider at the Las Vegas World Cup in September. Now for 2016 and 2017, KASK will be with him at every race, over every obstacle and for every turn of the crank.
Building off Jeremy’s individual success in 2016 he will be joined by Ellen Noble, a graduate of Jeremy's development program, The JAM Fund, and two-time National Champion and Pan American Champion. Having raced in every condition and on every surface, Jeremy and his team know what makes the difference when it comes to clothing and accessories – what makes a helmet comfortable, secure, light and protective.

Choice of Helmets
Jeremy and Aspire Racing will have their choice from the KASK range, including the Infinity and Protone models. Each has their own strengths and special features.
The Infinity is especially versatile and great for racing cyclocross as it is very aerodynamic and includes in-moulding technology giving him the best possible shock absorption combined with internal gel pads for optimum comfort. The inner padding is completely anti-bacterial and machine washable to increase hygiene levels and reduce the odour that builds up over a busy cross season.
The Protone has many of the same winning features, with highly visible color ways and 3D-Dry padding for cutting edge performance and comfort. Jeremy will have the luxury of switching between the two this season.

In 2013 Jeremy announced he was stepping down from his long-term role at Jelly Belly Pro Cycling road racing team to devote all his energies to his true calling – cyclocross! In an effort to help cultivate the next generation of cyclocross racers and ambassadors, Jeremy set up the JAM fund with friends Alec Donahue and Mukunda Feldman. The JAM Fund helps young, motivated cyclists achieve success both on and off the bike. They provide grants for deserving athletes, run events – including crits and cyclocross series’ to help increase participation – and have their own race team helping the riders perform to their very best right up to elite level.
